Tensioned fabric structure

Member’s of Hong Kong’s most exclusive club expect the highest stands, and LIGHTWEIGHT WORKS will always deliver. Situated next to the crystal clear pool, this fabric structure is designed to keep member’s cool during the hot summer months when grabbing refreshments.

This structure was designed to replace a previously damaged PTFE membrane. Super Typhoon Mangkhut exposed the weakness in the existing membrane cover & ripped a whole around the highpoint.

LIGHTWEIGHT WORKS reviewed existing engineering records, identified, & implemented improvements in the detailing.

The new membrane was fabricated & checked to ensure the best product was delivered to this exclusive club. Installation of the membrane onto the existing steel structure proved successful & the club members can now enjoy a new & much improved structure.
